I discovered Bikram Yoga mid last year when I moved from Sydney to Melbourne for work. Bikram Yoga provided a warm haven to stretch, de-stress and escape Melbourne's dreary winter weather. Having now returned to Sydney, I am now searching for my fav Sydney studio.
What is Bikram Yoga? Bikram Yoga is a series if 26 postures and two breathing exercises performed in a hot room (37 degrees) for 90 minutes. The room is heated intentionally to warm muscles, which allows you to work deeper in a shorter amount of time, seeing results faster. There are many health benefits of Bikram Yoga including; increased flexibility and strength, improves and restores posture, boosts energy levels, relieves tension and stress and relaxes the body and mind.
