Water views to die for with good value fish and chips
This is a friendly little cafe serving main meals, coffees and ice cream type treats on Redcliffe Parade.
It is family owned and the service is fantastic. The lovely gentlemen who showed us to our table took the time to chat with our baby daughter and we also noticed him bring some water to a dog who stopped by with his owner for coffee.
The food here is simple but good. It is ideally located in the heart of the Sunday markets and if you're lucky you'll hear the nearby buskers or market music entertainment while you enjoy your meal.
Bikini Beach Cafe serves a good variety of meals at budget-friendly prices. Of course, after a swim at the beach, this cafe has the ice cream, fish and chips and other tasty eats that makes a good beach morning.
The view from the outdoor tables is over the gorgeous Moreton Bay waters. It's beautiful scenery and makes for an idealic place to meet friends. This cafe is situated amongst the restaurant strip on Redcliffe Parade. Right now it is not as busy as its more famous franchise neighbours but it is also not as expensive. Some of the restaurants along this strip require half the household weekly food budget just to buy lunch for two people. However, once word gets out about this place, it will go from regularly three quarters full to pretty busy fairly quickly due to its tasty eats and good prices.
All in all, a great place to meet friends for a casual catch up.
Bikini Beach Cafe is situated at 77 Redcliffe Parade, Redcliffe. Street parking is available. Check their Facebook page for specials and updates.
