The Future of Music will be under the spotlight at this year's BIGSOUND 2024 Music Industry event from 3 to 6 September 2024 in Brisbane.

The annual four-day event will be an opportunity to hear from some of the leading music industry figures as they share perspectives and experiences and as well as, of course, see live music performances.

The Bigsound Conference
A centrepiece of Bigsound is the Conference which will include a range of workshops, panel discussions, mixers, forums, In Conversations and more covering contemporary topics to help springboard a music career such as:

  • How To Get Your Record Out
  • The Path To Zero: Planning a Climate Positive Artist Career
  • Your brand is you: owning your artist image, and more.

  • The Keynote Conference Address will come from someone who has first-hand knowledge of what it takes to make it to the top. Chart-busting Australian singer, Toni Watson professionally known as Tones and I In 2020, she burst onto the charts after releasing her second single which hit number one in 38 countries.

She will be presenting along with industry experts such as Australian television and radio presenter, Myf Warhurst (Triple J and Spicks and Specks),

A major part of BigSound is the showcases where talent is unleashed onto its stages. This year over 120 acts will get their chance to share their own sounds with Festival goers.

    BigSound Country
With International music performer, Keith Urban hailing from Queensland, it seems only fitting that BigSound Country be an important inclusion with presentations and performances featuring Country Music. Artists featured include Wade Forster, Claudia Tripp and Hudson Rose.

    First Nations
First Nations music will be considered in Goolwal Goolwal with thought-provoking panels, electrifying showcase performances, and exclusive events to amplify Indigenous voices.

When it's time to get social, BigSound delivers with pop-up tattoo parlous, unmissable parties and even sunset cruises!

    What Else?
BigSound will be held in the heartland of music in Brisbane, Fortitude Valley. Tickets to BigSound range from $25 for a one-night music ticket right through to $779 for a delegate pass - full access and can be purchased online.

Don't miss the chance to be a part of Australia's biggest music industry gathering, BigSound 2024.
