On our weekend away, our large group enjoyed a variety of villas at the Big4 Sandstone Point Holiday Resort, which were ALL absolutely amazing - impeccably clean, well-appointed and worthy of many return visits.

With the chill of winter, the best spot to be is at the fire pit at the Sunset Deck. The fire pit roars to life every Friday and Saturday night from 6pm to 9pm, but only in winter. Pack the marshmallows and enjoy a hot chocolate, surrounded by the warm glow-y ambience of a fire pit.

Fancy a spot of tennis? The Sandstone Point Holiday Resort hires out tennis equipment for FREE, so there's really no excuse for a bit of family competition. One hour sessions can be booked at reception.
Grab a ball from reception and from 7am to 6pm, shoot some hoops on the basketball court!
Board Games and Giant Games
The in-room TV's may have Netflix, but a game of Monopoly or Uno always encourages family togetherness and laughter. FREE board games are available from reception.
Throughout the Resort, visitors will find games for every age, including a GIANT chess set and bocce court.

One of the Resort's features is definitely the mammoth 500sqm heated swimming pool! No matter whether you're a water baby or more of a 'drink-in-hand lounger' the heated pool will tick all your boxes. For the tinier tots in the family, a wade-in pool that is separate to the main pool, will allow them to paddle in a safer environment.
If getting wet isn't your style, but you still enjoy being close to the water, why not grab one of the poolside day beds - no need to pre-book, first in, best dressed!
Shuffleboard is a giggle-a-minute game for guests to try their luck, whilst having heaps of fun.
