Caravan and Holiday Parks are really just another piece of real estate if you think about it and like any real estate they're all about position, position, position!
With that in mind I can safely say that
BIG4 Renmark Riverfront Holiday Park in South Australia's fabulous Riverland Region is far and away the best caravan park I've stayed in thus far.
That's not to say I won't find its equal or even something better in the future but to date this is the only caravan park that's ticked all the boxes for me without exception. It's a tiny bit more expensive than your average caravan or holiday park but it truly does deliver the very best of everything.

Featuring almost a kilometre of Murray River frontage and within easy walking distance of Renmark township the immaculate facilities & amenities combine with the laid-back, relaxed ambience at BIG4 Riverfront to deliver everything the discerning caravanner or holiday maker could wish for.

A combination of luxury, self-contained villas & cabins and powered, un-powered and en-suite caravan & camping sites set in a park-like environment this multi-award winning parks amenities include a games room, TV & movie rooms, a tennis court, adventure playground, swimming pool & spa and a waterpark and splash play area. Not only that, but there's a camp kitchen that would put some restaurants & cafes to shame featuring full oven, refrigerator, microwave, free BBQ's, sink, TV, tables & chairs and a great alfresco dining area.

The cost of Powered sites start from $47 per night ($52 on the riverfront) and En-Suite sites from $62 per night. An Unpowered Site costs from $42 per night.
A 3-Bedroom, 8-berth Riverfront Villa starts from $205 per night and a 2-Bedroom, 6-Berth Poolside Villa from $170 per night.
A 6-Berth Studio Cabin costs from $120 per night.
There's also a 2-Bedroom Family Villa with easy wheelchair access and a large bathroom with handrails and seating within the shower area available from $160 per night.
All units are fully self-contained and some include free in-house movies.

You can hire a pedal-bike, Water Bee or canoe and if you bring your own boat you can pull up on the riverbank directly opposite your caravan or campsite.
The grounds and pool area are maintained in pristine condition and the amenities blocks and all facilities are spotlessly clean. Guests also get complimentary WIFI access.
No wonder then that BIG4 Renmark Riverfront has been placed in the Top-3 sites in South Australia in the Caravan & Camping with Kids/Holidays with Kids Top-10 Awards.
