Lockdown is not going to stop The Big Wool Show from displaying all the beautiful yarn and fibre we crave, come winter. It's like a must-do winter magnet; it brings out the knitting needles and the crochet hooks, to dream up our next creation. Homemade, handmade, pure wool; nothing like natural fibres to keep you toasty warm.
FREE and Online, The Big Wool Show's event runs from Jul 17 at 9 AM – Jul 20 at 5 PM. Make sure you are following their Facebook and Instagram pages to keep up with all the fun. RSVP (click Going) to let them know you're attending the event. There are some exciting speakers lined up, plus a very special International guest! Come along, find out, and get crafty over 4 big days!
Expect the best of their in-person shows online and support your favourite woolly stallholders, or discover some new favourites too. Look at the beautiful fun colours in the pic below of Scrappy Batts by Fibre Arts Shed! They have high quality and unusual fibres and sell raw materials and tools to fibre artists. Located on the Central Coast of NSW; this is the beauty of an online event. You can buy from everywhere. These scrappy bats are made from the various colours of dyed Merino and so vary in size, colour mixes and weight. Great for beginner spinners, they're also fun for felting projects.
