Why is this place so fun?
Having a ball!

If you're looking for somewhere extremely fun and cheap to go during the first school holidays of the year, look no further than Big Slide Play Centre, located in Knoxfield.

This place is huge, its so wonderfully set out with the all the attractive colorful play equipment, to the chairs and tables in the cafe.

Big Slide caters for everyone; Dads can come down with the kids, watch the football on the big screen while the kids run around having a great time and Mothers can come along, drop the kids off in the ball pit and then relax and read a magazine in the lovely lounge area, or sit with friends in the cafe. Teens can come along, let their siblings or cousins run off and then they can enjoy a game of soccer or hockey.

If you want to get the children excited to go to Big Slide, just let them know all of those awesome things it has to offer; two awesome big slides - one is 8 metres high and the other is 6 metres high and both have three lanes. There is a rock climbing wall, inflatable jumping castle, speed slide, sports field, netting bridge, punching bags, and also for the parents there's a licensed sports bar and Foxtel on a plasma television.

Big Slide also offers birthday parties. You can come down and organise the party while the kids can have a 30 minute free play trial. The parties are great value for money and include unlimited water and cordial, access to the playground and sports field, party invitations, free admission for adults over 22 and hot food.

Lolly bags are also optional for just $3 each, you can bring your own cake and candles or purchase a cake from them.

Children of all ages will definitely love this place, I really enjoyed it and I was just going there for a cousin's birthday party.

The playground is huge and there is lots to do - the kids will never get bored.

The cafe serves lots of delicious food, healthy and hot food. I must admit the prices are quite high for the food, but if you're going there and need something to eat, you might as well have something. You can also request a platter if you have a lot of people with you. They also make kid's sandwiches which is great if you want the kids to have something healthy - there's Vegemite, fairy bread, jam, cheese and Vegemite.

I asked a few of my cousin's birthday party guests what they loved about Big Slide;

"I loved the sports field, all kids my age would have the best time and it gets you heaps of exercise" - Thomas, 10.

"My two year old loved the toddler area, crawling around in the tunnels, I would like to bring him back again" - Serina (age unknown)

"The jumping castle is the best I have never been on one and I had the time of my life tonight" - Abby, aged 6.

"The huge 8 metre slide was my favourite because it felt so fun going down on it, I want to come back and ride it 100 times with my friends" - Lucas, aged 9.

"This place rocks, I want my birthday here next year" - Talisha, aged 5.

So there you have it, people's quotes from places can really influence your decision in going somewhere. If you have young kids who love to have a great time and play, Big Slide is the best place to go during the school holidays. You won't regret it.
