Frankston will soon be transformed thanks to seven commissioned street artists, who have been recruited by
The Big Picture Fest to paint large-scale works on key locations around the city centre.
This is an incredible opportunity for outer-suburbans to be exposed to large-scale street artworks that are usually reserved for Melbourne.
is an event you'd expect to be held in the CBD, Fitzroy or Brunswick, but this time Frankston, the city hub on the tip of the Mornington Peninsula, gets the limelight.
Featuring well-known names on the street art scene; Smug, Loretta Lizzio, DVATE, Lucy Bonnin, Tristan Kerr, ZEDR and ORDER 55 will arrive in Frankston to transform Frankston's walls from drab to fab.

The festival will bring the local community together to see Frankston's walls metamorphose into large-scale artworks in key locations thanks to the aforementioned seven commissioned artists.
Headlined by a significant piece by international street artist Smug from Glasgow, the program includes:
An art walk
Street party
Photographic tour
And Ironlak Aerosol Jam (group street artwork).
The works will commence on 19 March, which will lead up to a public festival suited to all ages from 23-25 March.
This is a free event. For more information head to
