Size does matter. At least when it comes to go kart tracks. Thankfully for Brisbane residents, the largest commercial go kart track in Australia is only an hour's drive away.

boasts a 1.2km track capable of running up to fifty go karts in one hit. To go on the big track you must be at least 1.52 meters tall but don't despair if you have smaller children, there is a junior track with no height limit where young children can either drive a kart by themselves or have a ride with an adult. Participants must wear enclosed shoes at all times.

While you're having a break from the track take a trip to the pit stop cafe which boasts a wide range of food and drinks as well as a fantastic balcony where you can sit and watch others race around the huge track.

If you're looking for a place to host a party then there are discounts for groups over 12 and 30.

is situated in Landsborough along the Glass House Mountains Tourist Drive. It is around an hour's drive from Brisbane. It is open 7 days a week from 9am until 10pm but is closed on Christmas day.

Prices for the Junior Track are $20 for a single kart and $25 for a double kart per 10 minutes and the Big Kart track starts at $30 for 15 minutes. See the website for full pricing details. Helmet hire is included.
