For those who missed out on the final Finders Keepers market in October, the organisers from are showcasing 160 independent designers at this large indoor market spread across 3 huge days.



The designers are based locally and overseas so expect lots of variety in the design offerings. Besides coming to the design market with an appreciation of aesthetics, there will be some unique items focusing on ethical production and sustainability. Good design and originality is also important for designers. A list of the designers can be found here .

You will find an endless selection of goods for the home, handmade toys, vintage clothing, jewellery, pottery, papercraft, books, photography and so much more.





is held in the majestic Royal Exhibition Building. The abundance of space ensures that the event will be kid and pram friendly. There will be gourmet food and drink choices such as from Miss Chu, Earl Canteen, Taco Trucks, and 2Brothers microbrewery just to name a few.



There are no ATM facilities inside the Royal Exhibition itself. Some stallholders will have portable credit card merchant facilities but others will operate on a cash-only basis.

Entry is free. There will also be a major draw worth over $1000 by subscribing to their newsletter.

It is a perfect event to stock up for Christmas or other gift occasions. Otherwise if you have a passion for the arts and design, come along for a visit to get inspired for your own work. Networking opportunities is another possibility.

How to get there?
The Royal Exhibition Building is located just north of Melbourne's CBD, next to the Melbourne Museum in Carlton Gardens.

Public Transport:
• Tram 86 or 96 to corner of Nicholson and Gertrude Streets
• Free City Circle Tram to Victoria Parade
• City loop train to Parliament Station
• Bus routes 250, 251 and 402 to Rathdowne St
• Free City of Melbourne Tourist Shuttle Bus to stop No. 4

Cycle:
Local bicycle facilities include bike lanes on Rathdowne St and Canning St. There is also a shared pedestrian/bike path on Nicholson St. Bicycle racks on the Plaza provide ample bike parking just outside the front door.

By Car:
Street parking - there are some spaces near St Vincent's hospital with no restrictions on Sunday.
There is some street parking available in the area with 1-2 hour non-ticketed parking.

Museum Car Park
The Melbourne Museum undercover car park is open from 6.00am to midnight daily. Enter via Rathdowne Street or Nicholson Street.
• Week day rate: $8.00 for the first hour with a maximum day rate of $32.
• Weekend rate: $16.00 flat rate per day.
• Museum Members: $8.00 less than 2 hours. with a validated ticket (per exit per day) $12.00 more than 2 hours with a validated ticket (per exit per day).
• Designated disabled parking is available on level P2 adjacent to the lifts.
