An adventure like no other
Riddles, clues, puzzles, and trivia to find along the way - we all loved scavenger hunts as children. Now in the digital age, the concept is the same, only the clues and communications are different.
Big City Hunt organises scavenger hunts in major cities, internationally and in Australia. All the major Australian cities have one, as do some of the bigger regional cities as well. Just enter the city of your choice and you will find out more details about the actual hunt. If you or someone you know is going overseas, this is a great way to explore a new city.
The idea behind the scavenger hunt is simple. On your smartphone, you are given clues that lead you to landmarks and sites of the city where you then solve riddles and puzzles to continue on the hunt. The best way to participate is in a group where individuals are also allocated roles and given further trivia question or encouraged to upload photos to get more points for their team. There is a leaderboard against which you can compete too.
A scavenger hunt takes approximately 2 hours but you can stop along the way if in need of refreshments. If your group is smaller than 15 you do not need a booking, you can start the hunt straight away. It's a great way to explore cities, whether it be your own or a city you are visiting. Sound like fun? Check the website for more information, frequently asked questions and how to buy tickets. A gift voucher would make a great Christmas gift for all those people who are difficult to buy presents for. There are family and group packages as well as multi-day passes in case you can't get enough of one-day hunting. Tickets purchased can be used at any location. With 50% discounts at the moment, what are you waiting for?
