Best Boot Scootin' Fun in Adelaide
Located in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, just 22.5 kms (28 minutes) from the Adelaide CBD, Bridgewater is the home of the landmark Bridgewater Mill, an historic 1860s flour mill which now operates as a restaurant.
You could be forgiven for thinking that Bridgewater is a sleepy, old Adelaide Hills town. Well, almost, because once a year Bridgewater very much comes alive for the Big Bridgey Bush Bash. Widely known as the best fun in the hills, the Big Bridgey Bush Bash raises funds to support the community kitchen garden program at the Bridgewater Primary School.
This year the Bush Bash will be held from 5.30 pm to 9.30 pm on Friday 23 March 2018 at Bridgewater Primary School, 46 Morella Grove Bridgewater.
This year's live music will be The Beggars who will also be joined by Australian fiddle legend Trev Warner. There are the old school side shows, baa (bar) and cafe facilities, raffles, silent auction, prizes and great food.
Tickets are available online. Early Bird Tickets purchased before 18 March 2018 are $13 adults and $6 children (4 – 18 years, children under 4 are free. Standard tickets are $14 adults and $7 children and Barn Door Tickets purchased on or after 22 March are $15 Adults and $7 children.
Food will be available at the event or you can pre-order online with chicken, sausage in bread (vegetarian option available), falafel and corn on the cob available, ranging from $2.50 to $10. For further information call the school on 8339 1600.
