He's a well known baddy in fables and fairy tales from Little Red Riding Hood to the Three Little Pigs, but Windmill Theatre are set to change the way you think about the Big Bad Wolf. He might look a little bit scary with his big sharp teeth, but he also wears a bow tie and reads penguin classics. From the 4th till the 13th of July Windmill Theatre are bringing the Big Bad Wolf to the Space Theatre at the Adelaide Festival Centre.
The story follows the universally disliked Big Bad Wolf, who finally meets a little girl who's not afraid to call him her friend. You'll get to meet plenty of other much-loved fairytale characters throughout the show. After the show head to the foyer for the free school holiday arts workshop.
Windmill Theatre are well known for bringing quality children's theatre to the stage. Starting in 2002 as a SA Government initiative they have now presented more than 30 productions. They've won awards for Pinocchio, School Dance, Grug, and the Green Sheep to name a few.

The show is recommended for children 5 years and older. Tickets are $20 for adults and children, $15 for groups of more than 6, and $75 for families (two adults, two children).
