It's a fun family event for owners of hot rods to show off their pre 1948 custom cars, trucks, pickups, classic and special interest vehicles to anyone who wants to come along.
There will also be the Vintage Collective Markets with over 60 stalls of 50's to 70's fashion, household and garage items, plus there will be around 15 coffee, food and ice-cream stalls for you wander about.

There will also be a Show n Shine event with celebrity judging from 10am to 4pm, the Big Al's Poker Run from 4pm where you can go on a treasure hunt in your car where you will hopefully end up at the event.
You will also be able to attend an evening event with a bar, prize giving and the opportunity to socialise with other Hot Rod lovers and twilight cruise on the following Wednesday night starting at 6pm and open to all car owners who booked into Big Al's Poker Run for 2016.
The Big Al's Annual Poker Run event (now in its 36th year) is back for 2016 and will be held on Saturday 13th February 2016 at Perry Lakes Reserve, Floreat in Perth WA and if that's not enough, there will be live rock and roll music from the Roadmasters.
This event is sure to keep both young and old entertained all day long.
For those of you that didn't get along to last year's event you sure did miss out on seeing heaps of excellently restored hot rods and to give you a small insight into the quality of these hot rods I have listed below some of the winners from 2015.
They are as follows:

Over the past 5 years this event has raise $46,000.00 for a charity called Wheels For Hope where they assist WA families with disabilities who do not have suitable transport to access critical medical and remedial care, education and community activities.
In 2016 Big A's Poker Run will help raise some of the much need funds to help support Uni Camp for Kids where they continue to achieve their aim of providing camps and picnics for emotionally, socially, and/or financially underprivileged children.
So bring your rod, bring your family, bring your friends and make it a day at WA's Biggest Car Show & Cruise event of 2016.
