150 Australian arts showcase their best works
The Biennale of Australian Art (BOAA) showcases 150 of Australia's most impressive artists in Ballarat from the 21st of September to the 6th of November 2018.
BOAA will be the largest festival of Australian art ever presented. Key events will have a strong Aboriginal focus as well as celebrating multiculturalism. Highlights include 65 solo exhibitions from artists and sculpture around scenic Lake Wendouree. A range of performance art, music, and community events will only add to this amazing program.
Key venues include the historic Art Gallery of Ballarat, The Lost Ones Gallery, The Mining Exchange, Post Office Gallery, and many other locations. These will be split across three zones - CBD Village, Eureka Village, and Lake Wendouree Village.
Ballarat is a 90-minute drive from Melbourne, or a comfortable trip on the Vline, and services run hourly on most days.
The festival opens on September 21st with live music, DJs, and a party not to be missed.
A two-day pass for adults is only $25, with a $100 pass covering the entire festival. Ballarat also has a range of classic and luxury accommodation, as well as a broad range of cafes, restaurants, and venues sure to meet all tastes.
