Bicton Pool
The lap pool and clubhouse

Need a cool, relaxing escape without leaving our sunny shores? Bicton Pool is a very special place indeed, nestling into the shore of Perth's Swan River at Blackwall Reach Parade, surrounded by grass and palm trees.

The salt water lap pool and separate geothermal pool share possibly one of the best views in Perth. Watch the boats drift by as you drift away listening to the gentle lapping of the pools' clear water.

The geothermal pool is filled with warm natural artesian mineral water, perfect for treating aching bones and muscles, relaxing the mind and conditioning hair and skin.

Open weekdays from 5:45am till 1pm, and Sunday from noon till 1:45pm, this spot makes an ideal picnic location - once you arrive you won't want to go home!

sounds great if you can score a day off work. The weekend hours are very minimal, not open for barely 2 hours??

Sounds great, except for Sundays, is it really worth advertising?

This is the best place ever to take your kids. I know it isn't open for long on Sundays, I'm assuming it is because of the water polo games scheduled each weekend?
