This is a delightful place to spend a day - food, fun & more
Now that our hot weather is gone and the days are much cooler, with typical autumn cool mornings, once again the Bickley Harvest Festival will return!

This year it will be on 5th and 6th May, 2018 and it will be the 21st annual Bickley Harvest Festival. This area has been described as a "hidden secret", offering a mixture of boutique wineries, a cider house, gourmet foods, stunning flowers and the freshest fruit and vegetables direct from the growers.

The Bickley Valley thrives in the cooler autumn sun presenting visitors with a myriad of colours throughout the vineyards, orchards, the many trees and glorious gardens. Visitors can partake in a variety of activities such as enjoying the local artistic talent or indulging in tastings from boutique owner-operated wineries with hand crafted wines.

Situated approximately 35 minutes drive east of Perth and nestled in the Darling Ranges, the beautiful Bickley Valley forms part of the Perth Hills best-kept secret!

Beautiful forests, delightful wildflowers, tranquil bush-walking trails, bird and animal life, creeks and waterfalls, are just some of the scenic attractions. Roadside fruit stalls, such as asparagus straight from the farm, open gardens and fresh flowers, are a few of the things you will see here.

All of this makes this region so special, and it will be celebrated at the annual Bickley Harvest Festival, so mark the date in your diary!

Why not make a weekend of the festival and book into one of the charming bed and breakfast places in the area, so that you can stay in the Valley and enjoy all it has to offer!

There is something special about the Bickley and Carmel Valley area and here there are some of the youngest vintners in Western Australia.

This year, Explore Tours Perth will be operating two courtesy buses around the Valley on the weekend of the festival. The shuttle bus will be going to the participating venues on both days of the festival and there will be two 20 seater buses going between these venues.
