This year, 2015, marks the eighteenth year of the
The Bickley Valley Harvest Festival , and once again the whole Valley will be involved over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday the 2nd and 3rd May.
As the cool mornings of autumn draw in, the valley takes the opportunity to celebrate the bounty of the myriad of produce from local wineries, cider houses, local clubs, food, flowers, fruit, and artists exhibiting their works.
In addition, there is a photographic display, as well as many treats for the children, bouncy castles, face painters, and pony rides at certain venues.
Each year, Myatts Field Vineyard runs a Scarecrow Competition, and each year the scarecrows become more imaginative - there are some stunners this year.
All proceeds from the Scarecrow competition go to the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Western Australia.
This year there are a record nineteen venues offering the best produce in the region:
Bickley Valley Cottage & Asparagus Farm;
Carldenn Homestead Wines;
Fairbrossen Estate;
Due Jolly Winery;
Lesmurdie Club;
Rose Heritage Cafe;
Erasmus Designs Gallery & Café;
Melville's Rose 'N' Gardens;
