Better Homes and Gardens LIVE is all about the home and the popular TV show goes live at Sydney Showgrounds from the 20th to the 22nd of September 2013. It does not matter what you aspire to in the home, whether you're a DIY renovator, foodie or gardener. The organisers promise an event filled with information for making the home a more enjoyable, comfortable and better place to live in, as the name implies. Meet some of the TV experts from the show, including Fast 'Food' Ed at some live demonstrations and workshops.
Highlights for this year's Better Homes and Gardens event includes, yet is not limited to the following:
1. Better Decorating and DIY:
Watch Rob Palmer work up some magic with some RYOBI power tools. Whether your home needs a full, cosmetic renovation, or a simple "lick of paint," together with some styling tips for the most prominent rooms in the home. A full timetable where Rob and Tara will be speaking, can be found on the events website.
2. Better Cooking:
Enjoy a variety of decadent and fresh food samples, as well as new recipe ideas and tips to save you time while cooking and preparing food in the home kitchen. Cooking demonstrations are free (as part of show entry) and are available on a first come, first served basis.
3. Craft Workshops
Regardless of what type of arts and crafts you're into, from knitting and crochet to scrapbooking, you're going to have a great time. Spotlight (the retailer) will be on hand to assist, as you get a chance to try out some new craft techniques. Learn how to make a drink caddy at certain sessions.
