The "Save the Children - Toorak Branch" are always coming up with innovative, fun, friendly and fabulous ways of fund raising for this wonderful cause. And they have done it yet again, by hosting a special night of a stage performance written by Anton Burge and directed by Alan Burrows, with a play called "Bette & Joan".

This production has rival Hollywood divas Bette Davis and Joan Crawford go head to head to finally resolve their legendary and famous feud. And you get this one special chance to attend the "Gala Event" on Wednesday 17th of February 2016 at 7:30 at the Bayside Arts & Cultural Centre thanks to "Save the Children - Toorak Branch and the Brighton Theatre Production Company. And your ticket is an extra special price of only $25 dollars which includes refreshments before and after the performance. Where else could you go and get this type of spectacular for less then dining out?

If you love the nostalgia of old movies, the glamour of Hollywood stars and a taste for final resolution, this is a must see show for you.

And its easy to find at the historical Brighton Town Hall on the corner of Wilson and Carpenter Streets, Brighton.

And even better, proceeds go to support a very good cause, the world's homeless children. Did you know there are over 19.5 million homeless people in the world at this one moment in time and a huge proportion are OUR children. This not for profit group is passionate about making a difference for those suffering children. Simple basics that we take for granted can make a huge difference for the homeless. Clean water, bread, grain, a roof over their head, medial attention, and basic education for a better future. Save the Children does all this and more.

I have had the privilege to be invited to attend several "Save the Children" occasions and either film or write about their events. If you have not heard about it yet, put another extra special event in your calendar, as well. This lovely day is now a yearly favorite for me. If you love French food, wine, cheese, clothing, arts and crafts, and music to be enjoyed under a massive oak tree surrounding by French accents, then attending "The French Affair" is a must. This glorious day was held by the Country Women's Authority in Toorak with Save the Children and many others' support.

Now there is a second chance to enjoy this production if you cannot make the 17th of February. Of course it will not be quite as much fun as meeting with all the Save the Children dedicated group, but it the production runs from February till March.
