[ADVERT]Recently, I posed the question Where is Adelaide's Best Vietnamese Restaurant? Well, had I written that article a week later, I would definitely have given Betel Leaf Cafe a mention.

Betel Leaf Cafe serves quality Vietnamese food. It has only been around for a couple of years, but despite its short history, it has proven to be a popular destination for people of all cultures.

For such a small place, the size of the menu is quite large. Entrees include spring rolls, cold rolls, wontons, and Vietnamese salads.

Pho Dac Biet - combination beef noodle soup

For mains, you can choose from many different soups, including pho (a combination beef noodle soup), rice or noodle dishes with your choice of meat, and a whole lot more. There is simply too much to list.

Even if you are not a big fan of Vietnamese food, I am pretty certain there will be something there that you would find delectable.

I went there with a couple of friends for lunch, and even though the cafe isn't huge, the majority of tables were filled. I am not sure if they are so busy that you need to book, but in the event that they are filled, you can simply get a quick Vietnamese bread roll or main dishes as take away.

We had a bowl of pho, and rice with crispy pork chop and roast pork. Both dishes had great flavours, particularly the meat with the rice, which I found really tasty.

For those who live or work near the Seaton area, I do recommend you at least give Betel Leaf Cafe a go, especially if you want to savour the flavours of Vietnam.
