Hugo's
Hugo's has never been one of my favourite clubs; on a usual night, the drinks are expensive and everything comes across a little over the top. Often people at the venue aren't the friendliest either, but on Sunday nights Hugo's offers a great deal any drink (cocktails included) or pizza for only 5 dollars.

The crowd is slightly different as well and you can eat/drink as much as you want, without fearing your wallet might have a heart attack. The pizza deal is especially good. Definitely give this place a try on a casual Sunday night - I'm sure you won't be disappointed.



Ivy
The Ivy is an experience. The club is extremely well known in Sydney - for a good reason. I finally had the chance to visit this happening spot and I was pleasantly surprised there was no cover on a Thursday night and the drinks were reasonably priced - ranging from $7-$18, which is not a bad deal at all.

The pool area, which is one of the highlights, is still in use and as soon as a raunchy song comes on, you will notice people around you stripping down to jump in the nice heated pool. The atmosphere was electric, maybe slightly over packed, but if you live in Sydney and haven't been to Ivy, you are certainly missing out - go on a Thursday and go soon.

Spice Cellar
The Spice Cellar might just be one of my new favourite places; I've kinda fallen head over heels for it. This is a hip funky joint that offers elegance and class at the same time.

It's extremely underrated and offers a great night out. If you want to get away from packed clubs and pushy dance floors, this is where you need to go. I would say avoid this place on a Friday and go on a Tuesday night instead, to enjoy 3 tapas plates and 2 glasses of wine for the $35 wine & dine special.



Iguana Bar
The Iguana Bar is a pretty interesting spot at Kings Cross as they offer some of the best themed nights. I'm always looking for a nice place with R&B music and some 90s tunes to dance to and this is the place that caters to that. It also offers a $5 cocktail of the month and has no cover charge. Also, if you are into karaoke, they have one! Save this one for a Monday night.
