Unequivocally, the only way to lose weight is by eating less, counting calories if you're really serious. Exercise tones and makes you feel good but you would have to walk for a day before you really started shifting fat. Beware exercise that trashes your body like boot camps. You need to look after joints and organs and going hard now might have repercussions later. Eat less, add resistance training for toning and play fun games inn the park or take your dog, children, partner etc for a brisk walk just because it feels good.
