Best Turkish Restaurants in Brisbane

Do you like a shimmy with your shish? A slide with your pide? In other words, do you like to be entertained while you eat? I'm not talking about just any old entertainment and any old food here, I'm talking about feasting your eyes on talented belly dancers while your taste buds are feasting on Turkish food.

If this sounds like something you would enjoy, you should check out one of Brisbane's many restaurants serving up a 'meze' of Turkish food and belly dancing.

If you haven't had Turkish food before, do yourself a favour and book a table at one of the following restaurants for tonight:

Caravanserai, West End.
Harem, Paddington.
Efes One, Albion.
Ahmets, Southbank and Bulimba.
Ottoman Café, West End.
Mado Café and Restaurant, Southbank.
Mecca Bah, Fortitude Valley (no belly dancing, but some of the best pizza/pide in Brisbane!)

Personally, I don't think you can go past Caravanserai; it has been a Turkish staple in Brisbane for many years, and it is still dishing out amazing food and a great atmosphere.

Not only is the food at these restaurants authentic and, more importantly, tasty, but most of them combine great meals with an entertaining belly dancing performance – you may even find yourself out of your seat joining in the festivities. The only thing you need to remember is, don't let your food get cold while you are mesmerised by the dancers.
