Queensland is well known for its theme parks and many people travel to the sunny Gold Coast just to go to the theme parks. They offer endless hours of family fun, and are one of the most popular holiday destinations during peak school holiday periods.



My favourite of the theme parks would have to be Movie World, after all, it is known as "Hollywood on the Coast". This is my favourite theme park because I am a kid at heart. I love all the characters along the streets of the park, and I love the street parade. There is so much to see and do and it provides hours of fun for people of all ages! It doesn't matter how many times you have been there's always something different.









Movie World is a place where you can get lost in a completely different world, a world of fantasy and fun. While walking the streets of the park you can meet your favourite stars and super heroes, and then for those who want to get an adrenaline rush and experience exhilaration, there are Movie World's selection of great rides There is plenty to see and do at Warner Bros Movie World for people of all ages, even the faint hearted.

Movie World offers something for everyone which is why I vote that it is the best theme park in Queensland. Other theme parks are mainly focused on those of us who are thrill seekers and love a challenge and enjoy fast rides, but there are some of us who don't enjoy that as much and so Movie World offers something for everyone. They have a selection of thrill rides: Green Lantern Coaster, Superman Escape, Arkhum Asylum, Batwing Spaceshot, Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster, Wild West Falls Adventure Ride and Justice League 3D.



For the kiddies, Movie World has Kids Zone with a selection of activities and rides.









Family entertainment is also offered at Movie World, with the Hollywood Stunt Drivers, Pit Pass and who could forget the Main Street Entertainment. They have various shows on during the day so check out Movie World list of Show Times

The facilities offered as disabled assisted access, cafe, lockers, car park, first aid, shaded area, disabled and public toilets.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Movie World is open every day of the year except for Anzac Day and Christmas Day. Gates open at 9:30am and rides open at 10am, and gates and rides close at 5pm.
