If you don't feel like cooking tonight, or you are on holiday and looking for a good takeaway pizza to take back to the hotel, then keep reading for some local options around the Nelson Bay region. Of course, there is Domino's pizza at
Nelson Bay and
Salamander Bay for cheap pizza on a budget, but if you are looking for something wood-fired or a little bit fancy, then the Port Stephens region has you covered. Many of these takeaway venues have dine-in options as well or you can take your pizza to a nearby
bay or beach, to enjoy your pizza with a view.

Piping hot takeaway pizzas from the Wood Oven, Nelson Bay
is located at the
d'Albora Marinas at Nelson Bay, overlooking the water. You can eat-in on their
first level verandah or grab a takeaway and take it to the foreshore, to share with family. They offer wood-fired pizza, pasta and salads. When the wood-fire pizza oven is pumping, the smells are divine! No delivery is advertised at time of writing. See

Sharkys Pizza Shack is located near the River's store on Donald Street in Nelson Bay. This little takeaway store is popular for locals, particularly as they offer single sizes, half & half, themed pizzas and you can order online. They deliver to Salamander Bay, Anna Bay, Corlette, Nelson Bay, Boat Harbour, Soldiers Point, Taylors Beach, Fingal Bay, One Mile, Salamander Bay and Shoal Bay with a $20 minimum. is our family's favourite takeaway pizza shop as they have a tasty range to choose from and the staff are welcoming and treat everyone like locals. This little business is tucked away, one block back from Fingal Bay beach, and is a popular haunt for the locals all year around. Take a picnic blanket and enjoy your pizza overlooking the bay. Uncle Franks Cafe Pizzeria is located in the industrial area at Salamander Bay, just before Old Salamander Bay shops on the way to Soldiers Point. This little takeaway shop has a good reputation with the locals and is convenient, with parking out the front. See
