For those feeling that the current restrictions does not allow for tasty meals, it is good to know that many of the restaurants in Parafield Gardens are still operating and offering takeaways. A good variety of cuisines are covered, great for those looking for a change from instant meals or fast food outlets.

Many of Pho Khang's dishes are equally enjoyable eaten at home. One of our favourites is Bot Chen, a dish of fried rice cakes served with a dipping sauce and pickled carrots. The familiar Vietnamese favourites such as Pho and Pork Chop Rice are also available as well.

Aumbo Khmer at Martins Plaza is great for those who like Cambodian and Vietnamese cuisine. A dish that we enjoyed was Hokkien Noodles, which had 'wok hei' to provide it with a delectable smoky flavour and can be prepared with various ingredients. Kim Hang Vietnamese Restaurant at Martins Plaza is also open for business.

If you prefer Western cuisine, there is Parafield Gardens Pizza Bar. A wide range of pizza options is available - from familiar favourites such as Supreme to more unique options like the Yiros Pizza. Pasta dishes are also on the menu for those not in the mood for pizza.

For Indian cuisine, a good choice is Spice Bazaar. A dish that we enjoyed was the Biryani Rice, which had fluffy rice and a good amount of spicy flavour. Various deals are available to make ordering meals from there more affordable.

Where else in Parafield Gardens can you buy delicious takeaway meals? It would be nice to share the information so we can all enjoy a variety of flavoursome dishes at home until things go back to normal.
