Everybody loves Take-Away. It's great isn't it? It's a fast, convenient and easy meal any time you want one, whether it's on the weekend or for a quick meal when you're a bit short of time. Take Away food is often called fast food and is available from outlets in pretty much every country in the world.

I know that some take away food may not be all that good for you and it should be an occasional food, but many places have healthier or low fat options available now. In Perth we have plenty of take away food outlets with a huge variety of foods available so the choice is sometimes difficult. These are only a few alternatives – there are so many more.

Good old fish and chips from your local chippy, covered in salt and vinegar with a bit of sauce, maybe some mushy peas, and fresh bread is always a popular meal, and hard to beat.

Chinese and Indian take-away are now more popular than ever. Chinese cuisine has always been popular and there are so many dishes to choose from, Chop Suey or Chow Mein, Fried Rice or Noodles, it's up to you. Curry can be very spicy so choose from mild, medium or hot. For either Chinese or Indian food just pick your favourite meat and there is sure to be a dish you like on the menu.

For Pizza lovers we have Pizza Hut or Domino's, both of which offer a wide variety of pizzas to suit any taste. There are several types of crust to choose from and plenty of toppings. Choose from the menu or design your own. Take away or home delivered, even the option to place an order on line is available.

There are also many other pizza places around, Eagle Boys, Pizza Express, Tippy's Pizza, Pizza Bella Roma and Ruocco's to name just a few.

If you love burgers then there is McDonalds orHungry Jacks. Both stores offer similar food but most people have their favourite; it just depends on which one you like best.

Of course there are plenty of burger bars in and around the city, Flipside Burgers, Missy Moos Burger Bar and Jus Burgers. Almost every café you can think of sells burgers.

If your prefer chicken then Red Rooster or Chicken Treat both offer a range or roast chicken options from snacks to dinners. Or for something a bit spicy there is Nando's Chicken.

For something a bit different try Subway. Freshly baked bread rolls full of your favourite toppings. Choose from a selection of meats, fresh salads and sauces. Try the famous freshly baked cookies.

There are so many take-away options to choose from and everyone has their own favourite. So tell us: What's your favourite take away and where do you get it from?

You should think about changing the title of this post... You haven't talked much about takeaway places, you have just talked about fast food instead. There are a lot of good restaurants around Perth with takeaway service and you didn't mention anyone at all.
