Here are some of the best Sydney cafes that offer a picturesque water view.
Bianchini's Espresso
While on a recent trip to Cronulla, I accidentally came across this lovely café. Located right above Elouera Beach, one of the café's highlights is undoubtedly the breathtaking beach view.
Whether you're sitting inside or out on the terrace, you can enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the ocean while you sip on your coffee.
As soon as we stepped inside, we were greeted by their friendly staff who made us feel right at home.
If you're a fan of savoury breakfast dishes, you absolutely have to try the Turkish eggs. Or, if you're in the mood for something a bit lighter, the zucchini carrot fritters are a delicious and healthy option. Made with grated zucchini and carrot, these fritters are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
The slow-cooked pork belly burger is a must-try. With a juicy, tender pork belly, crunchy slaw, and a spicy mayo sauce, this burger is delicious. Or, if you're in the mood for something a bit more classic, the open steak sandwich is a winner.
The meals at Bianchini's are surprisingly affordable, with most dishes ranging between $15 to $22.

If you're looking for a scenic spot to enjoy some delicious bites and sip on the perfect coffee, then look no further than The Boathouse.
This cool cafe chain has got several locations scattered throughout the city, each with its unique waterfront charm that will take your breath away. From the original spot in Palm Beach, just a short drive north of Sydney, The Boathouse can also be found at Balmoral Beach, Shelly Beach, Rose Bay, and Patonga.
The Boathouse is known for its mouth-watering dishes made with locally sourced, fresh ingredients. From delicious croissant French toast and coconut bircher muesli for breakfast to hearty burgers and crispy fries for lunch. And let's not forget about their famous fish and chips and tiger prawns, which are simply divine!
My favourite thing about The Boathouse group is not only the delicious food but also the stunning sea-inspired décor.

With its sandy beach, crystal-clear water and Morton Bay Fig trees, Clontarf Beach Reserve is an absolute gem.
One of the best things about the Bosk Cafe is the fact that you can enjoy your meal while watching your children play at a nearby playground. It's the perfect spot for a catch-up with friends or a family outing.
My son met his best friend at Clontarf when they were both just 2 years old. This year we celebrated their 21st birthday at this special location.
Bosk Cafe's menu serves an impressive selection of dishes, ranging from beef fillet to romesco risotto, and even a delicious duck breast option. While the prices for main courses range from $35 to $50, it's worth spending the money for the quality and flavours you'll experience.

If you're looking for a picturesque spot to enjoy a delicious meal, Plonk Cafe at Fergusons Marina in Mosman is the place to be. With stunning views of the marina and boats sailing in and out, it's the perfect setting for a relaxing meal.
Whether you're catching up with colleagues or entertaining clients, Plonk Cafe is a great spot for a business meeting.
My personal favourite is the Linguine with prawns, garlic, and chilli lemon - it's simply divine.
If you're in the mood for something more substantial, their seafood platter and eye fillet steak are both excellent choices.
To finish off your meal, you can't go wrong with their tropical creme brulee or triple chocolate macadamia brownie.

For a spot that offers breathtaking views of Manly and Shelly beach, look no further than The Bower Manly Cafe. Located right between the two beaches, it's a prime spot to enjoy a relaxing breakfast or lunch while taking in the stunning scenery.
The cafe is a favourite amongst the locals, and it's easy to see why. The menu has something for everyone, whether you're in the mood for something savoury or sweet. For breakfast, you can't go wrong with The Mexical Skillet or Eggs Benedict, while the Green Goodness Bowl and Smoked Trout Pate are great options for all-day lunch.
But it's not just the food that's great at The Bower Manly Cafe - they also have an impressive selection of coffees, perfect for starting your day off on the right foot or enjoying with your lunch. And if you're in the mood for something a little stronger, they're also licensed, so you can indulge in a delicious cocktail like an Espresso Martini or Daiquiri.

I love the Pavillion Beachfront cafe! It's located right above Maroubra Beach, so you can imagine the stunning views it offers.
It's a lively and beautiful place with crystal clear waters and golden sand and the perfect place to watch the world go by or even take a dip after your meal.
The atmosphere is casual and friendly and you can choose to sit inside or outside, depending on your preference. And if you have kids, there's even a playground nearby, so they can play while you enjoy your meal.
For breakfast, they have delicious French-style crepes and acai bowls, and for lunch, you can indulge in their chicken quesadillas or paella. The prices for main courses range from $25 to $40, which is very reasonable for such a beautiful location.

I've been hearing about Thelma & Louise Café for a while, so I finally decided to check it out and the cafe did not disappoint!
It has a cosy and welcoming vibe, perfect for enjoying a lazy brunch or lunch with friends or family. Plus, the view overlooking Hayes Beach is just gorgeous. You can choose to sit inside or outside, but you may want to book ahead as the café is quite small and can get busy.
Their famous berry and ricotta crepes are a must-try for breakfast, but if you're feeling something more savoury, the rustic breakfast with pork sausage, roasted tomatoes, bacon, and toast is a winner too. And for lunch, their seafood linguine and king prawn and Atlantic salmon salad are both delicious options.
