Chocolates from Mamor - yum
Hmmm...this is definitely one of those things that makes you go mmmm. There is an abundance of sweet treats available in Melbourne, yet there are a couple that have left a sweet spot on my palette. They leave you crying out for more. It is a cool thing to have an occasional relationship with all things sweet, and albeit delightful.
It's tricky feat. Not the easiest question to answer in anyone's books. The hand made chocolates at
Mámor Chocolates & High Tea Szalon at Collingwood is worth a decent walk as you get off tram 86 from Smith Street. That is if you're coming from the city of course. The amazing review already written on WeekendNotes on this experience can be found by clicking

More of Mamor's chocolates...
I would have to agree, the experience here is a real aphrodisiac, a pleasant one nonetheless. It was a joy to have been invited to a Friday night celebration with them last month. Owner Hannah was celebrating the expansion of their shopfront. The turnout was so amazing, you could barely move. In normal store opening hours, the ambience is amazingly relaxing. The plush lounges make you feel like royalty. The chocolate is sweet yet pure heaven. The orange varieties also also mouthwatering. Many Melburnians easily say Mámor Chocolates & High tea Szalon is the best chocolate high tea experience in Melbourne, and just the best chocolate taste test in Melbourne full stop. Amen to that.

Cakes at Store 6, South Melbourne Market
The variety of hand made cakes by caterer
Store 6 at the South Melbourne Markets is also amazing. You would sometimes question the need to go through all that effort and legwork to bake your own cakes. It may not make sense when you can buy a circular muffin size cake here for a few bucks. Their carrot and banana cakes...yum. Now that is also sweet treat leverage in the city of culture.

There are some other amazing sweet treat establishments here in Melbourne. Where is it for you, and what makes such sweet treats so mouthwatering, tasty and amazing? A sweet discussion indeed.
