From the mountains to the sea, this region of South East Queensland grows an abundance of amazing fresh, produce and I reckon there is no better way to purchase your own box full of this abundance than at a local market. So, whether you need some lychees or crabs or even hand knitted socks, here are ten of the best markets on the Sunshine Coast.
This is your classic bustling Sunday morning market - full of over a hundred trailers and vans selling produce "picked yesterday". You can catch the Noosa Ferry to these riverside markets right on Noosa Marina. Maybe sit back at The River Deck restaurant while you listen to a live band in between purchases. They have a great summery vibe at any time of the year.

4. Peregian Beach Markets:
Every first and third Sunday - 7am - 12.30pm
Kingfisher Drive, Peregian Beach
