Which host boasts the roast with the most?

With pubs and clubs all over Brisbane offering succulent meat and delicious sides, it's time you trade your Sunday arvo beer for a Sunday arvo roast lunch with family and loved ones.

For a traditional roast fare with all the trimmings, try Waterloo Hotel (address). Their old fashioned English feast includes meat and veggies served in a giant Yorkshire pudding.

The Waterloo Hotel Sunday Roast Lunch is $30 per person. The meal deal also includes a glass of wine or schooner of beer and soft drink and a pav for dessert. Bookings are essential and can be made online here.

Try Hop & Pickle (address) for a slightly more modern but equally delicious choice. Their roast lunch offers a choice of beef, pork or chicken, as well as vegetarian options, served with homemade Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables, and cauliflower cheese.

The Hop & Pickle roast lunch is available every Sunday from 12pm.

Honourable Mentions

At German Club you can have whatever roast you want, so long as its pork. Porcine lovers are spoiled for variety here, with the famous German Club pork knuckle and crispy belly pork, both served with a generous helping of sides, available every day of the week.

Brewhouse also offers a roast lunch every day of the week. The Roast of the Day is $20 and includes roast veggies, buttered greens, and Yorkshire pudding with a rotating selection of roast meat and gravy.
