With Spring just around the corner, why not enjoy the lovely weather and sunshine days by stopping and smelling the roses at the list below of garden and flower events.

The list below features the Best Spring Garden & Flower Events across New South Wales:

1. Spring Time in the Gardens
When: Sunday, 1-30 September 2019
Where: Hunter Valley Gardens, 2090 Broke Rd, Pokolbin
Cost: See website.
Details: There will be plenty of spring entertainment at this event including flower show, floral displays, Galaxy of Gnomes created by local schools, talks, walks, demonstrations, and more. Click here for the website.



2. Spring Daisy Display
When: Sunday, 1 September 2019- 31 October 2019
Where: Mount Annan Botanic Gardens, 362 Narellan Rd, Mount Annan
Cost: Free
Details: This event will showcase colourful displays of Western Australian Natives. Click here for the website.

3. Tulip Time Festival
When: Tuesday, 24 September 2019- 7 October 2019: 9am-5pm
Where: Corbett Gardens, Bendooley St, Bowral
Cost: Adults: $12pp, Concession/ Pensioner/ Seniors Card: $7pp, Children (13-17yrs): $7pp & Children under 12yrs: Free
Details: With around 75,000 tulips nestled among the picturesque blossoming trees in Corbett Gardens, this festival will also include displays, exhibits, market stalls, activities and tulips galore (of course). Click here for the website.



4. Sakura Matsuri- Cherry Blossom Festival
When: Saturday, 28 September 2019: From 10am
Where: Cowra Japanese Garden & Cultural Centre, Ken Nakajima Place, Cowra
Cost: Adult: $20pp, Concession: $18pp, Children (5-12yrs): $15pp & Family (2 adults kids): $60 per family.
Details: There will be plenty of family-friendly fun including entertainment, activities, demonstrations, Taiko drummers, sumo wrestlers, Japanese archery, sword shows, workshops, market stalls, tea ceremonies, fashion parade, displays, jumping castle, face painting, exhibits and more. 5. Wild about Waratahs Festival
When: Saturday, 28 September 2019- Monday, 7 October 2019
Where: Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens, Bells Line of Road, Mount Tomah

6. Garden Arts for Kids
When: Wednesday, 2 October 2019- 10am or 1pm sessions.
Where: Mount Annan Botanic Gardens, The Bowden Centre, 362 Narellan Rd, Mount Annan
Cost: $25 per child
Details: The little ones will love this gardening event! This workshop will help kids create their own beautiful garden artworks that they can take home or leave at the gardens. They will be working with a range of natural materials. Suitable for 5-12yrs. Click here for the website.



7. Leura Garden Festival
When: Saturday, 5,6,7,11,12 & 13 October 2019
Where: Leura & surrounds- see website.
Cost: Single Adult Tickets: $8pp, All Gardens Pass Adults: $30pp (valid throughout the Festival) & Children under 16yrs: Free
Details: There will be 11 beautiful gardens, including two which are new to the festival. There will also be entertainment, Music in the Gardens, performances, displays, exhibitions, live paintings and more. 8. Rose Spectacular
When: Saturday, 12 October 2019- 10 November 2019
Where: Hunter Valley Gardens, 2090 Broke Rd, Pokolbin

Details: There will be a sensory explosion at this event! Explore the 35,000 rose bushes across the gardens, including the 6,000 roses inside the rose garden itself. Click here for the website.



9. Berry Gardens Festival
When: Thursday, 17-20 October 2019: 10am-4pm
Where: Berry & surrounds- see website.
Cost: Adults: $5pp per garden, Adults: $20pp for all gardens (valid throughout entire festival days) & Children under 18yrs: Free

10. Griffith Garden Festival
When: Friday, 18-20 October 2019: 9:30am-5pm

11. Batlow Apple Blossom Festival
