Great Choice of Gifts
Colourful, quirky, interesting, that's shopping on Coventry Street, South Melbourne
Coventry Street in South Melbourne is the perfect shopping precinct. Next door to South Melbourne Market which has an outstanding fresh food choice in fruit and vegetables, deli products, meats and fish, Coventry Street shops have all the rest. So why not start looking for those Christmas presents early, without the crowds and do your shopping here. During the week is best but weekends are lots of fun too, just come a bit earlier and if the shops are closed there are plenty of cafes for breakfast and coffee.
The shops are not the usual shops you can find in every shopping mall or Melbourne CBD, these are different, quirky, cool and interesting and you are bound to find the perfect gift, for you or someone else.
Women's Clothing and Accessories. Mr Darcy sells unique, cool designs in women's fashion, among them Johnny Was, Elk and Nancybird. Jewellery, bags, scarves, and gifts complete the selection and the quality of the products is excellent. Sia prides itself on clothing made in Australia and works with designers and textile houses in Europe to make high-quality clothing. Whilst at the higher end of price point, the quality and uniqueness of their design will stay with you for a long time. Similarly, Bon Emil stocks European and Australian fashion at the higher end of the price range. Their brands include Copenhagen, Alessandra, Morrison, Joie, Rebecca Taylor and many others. If you are looking for a special outfit for all those Christmas and New Year events you are sure to find it here.

Spices, oils, baking ingredients, pickles, cake decorations, jams and honey, Australian native products chillies of all kinds, the list is endless. Gifts for the Pets As much as pets love to play, the top of their Christmas list would most probably be food and treats. This is where the Pet Grocer can help. All their food comes from Australia, is free from additives and ethically sourced, and pets love it. There are two locations in South Melbourne, one in Coventry Street and one in the South Melbourne Market. Their website is under construction but you can contact them to be put on their mailing list.
