Another place to find fresh and quality seafood in Darwin is Darwin Fish Market, located at 30 Frances Bay Drive. As you walk inside this fish shop you see their award winning plaques displayed proudly on the wall.

Little dingy for seafood display
With their motto "You Pick, We Pack", they certainly won't disappoint you. Darwin Fish Market is slightly smaller than Mr Barra's but you still can find a full range of fresh seafood here. They say they are specialists in barramundi, snapper, jewfish and prawns cooked or green for BBQ, mussels, scallops, lobster, mud and sand crabs. 98% of their seafood is sourced from the Northern Territory. There is no imported seafood here.
One thing that you must grab here is their famous homemade barramundi dip, made from real wild caught barra and all natural. People said its just like seafood Nutella that you will fight everyone for. You can also try their homemade fish patties, naturally smoked barra and sauces.
Inside Darwin Fish Market is a home for Rachael's Seafood Shack, operated by Rachael of
Master Chef fame. She offers 'No chips, No salad, No Bull - just Kept it Simply Seafood' in the shack. Try her seafood chowder or whole red snapper. It was an absolute beaut! The service was very quick and Rachael and her team were super friendly.
