Book your child in for some serious school holiday fun
With the upcoming school holidays fast approaching, it's time to book or save the date for interesting children's events and activities.

Farm Open Days
22 September-7 October, 9am-4pm daily
Goodna Rd (Greenbank)

Brisbane's Mini Farm will be opening their business to the general public for the first time! Bring the family to meet, pat and feed a variety of farm animals (including the Spring babies).

Cold drinks available to purchase, visitors are welcome to bring their own morning tea or lunch.

Entry fee $5 per person, including a cup of animal feed (babies under 12 months free of charge). $5 pony rides.

Free Imagination Children's Festival Concert Launch

Families can enjoy art and craft activities, fun and games with Sparky Do Dah and watch performances and demonstrations by The Kangagang, Renata Jayne, Geckoes Wildlife Pty Ltd and BPAD - Beverley Parker Academy of Dance

There will be a sausage sizzle, potato twisters, Dippin Dots Ice-cream and coffee for sale.

Goldie and the 3 B-Bears

Family members of all ages will delight in this hip-hop dance theatre show. Learn an alternate telling of the popular fairy tale through spoken word, rhyme, music, drama and dance.

Free Outdoor Movie Night

Bring a blanket or chairs and watch the film "Captain Underpants" under the stars. Free popcorn for attendees.

Mud World Festival for Kids

Various craft workshops will be held throughout the week. Make your own jewellery, masks and crowns, wands, kaleidoscopes, or pom pom. There will also be opportunities for painting canvases and colouring in tote bags.

Limited numbers of participants per day, attendance will be determined on a "first come, first served" basis.

Visit Mayes Cottage to create and connect with nature. Dance with Aboriginal musician and entertainer Lucas Proudfoot, get up close to native wildlife and join in hands-on activities under the trees.
