Satay is a traditional Indonesian dish made with diced meat, marinated and put on skewers, then grilled and served with a nutty sauce.

There are quite a few restaurants in and around Perth that serve very good Satay dishes but where is the best Satay in Perth?

Mahsuri Satay Restaurant in Victoria Park is a family friendly restaurant serving traditional Malay cuisine. Their rich and spicy dishes are served with rice and their speciality is, of course, Satay.

The Victoria Cafe and Restaurant in Fremantle has been a favourite Indonesian restaurant since opening in 1996. They offer a variety of yummy Satay dishes served with home-made peanut sauce.

Satay-Mu Restaurant in Kardinya and Melville serves authentic Malaysian food and has a great range of Satay dishes.

Visit The Satay Spot in Murray Street Perth for Modern Indonesian Cuisine and authentically cooked Satay.

Bibik Chan's Satay Garden, located in Nedlands and North Fremantle, is famous for their delicious Satay's and other oriental delicacies.

You could try the Satay Fiesta in Mount Pleasant, Suria Cafe in Girrawheen, Aminah's Satay & Curry House in Mandeley or Satay Mutiara in Fremantle for tasty Satay dishes at reasonable prices.

If you want to try your hand at cooking Satay in your own home try Mr WeeZee Satay, in either Booragoon or Nedlands.
