The 3.2 kilometre long Dubai Water Canal is a manmade waterway that extends from the Dubai Creek through Business Bay before dumping into the Arabian Gulf. Rent a boat and boat slowly along the canal, under its many bridges and arches and pass by the lovely manmade waterfall. The Dubai Frame is one of Dubai's more recent tourist attractions. What it is, is a tall picture frame standing tall at 152 meters. The two sides of the frame are connected to each other by a glass-bottomed bridge which is the viewing point. It's winter time now and time for the Dubai Glow Garden, which opens from November to February of the next year. This year, you'll be delighted with the incredible animatronic Dino Park, where the dinos roar and growl and move threateningly to scare you. It's all very realistic. Then there's the Eco-friendly Artwork display where you can enjoy looking at sculptures made out of millions of tiny bottles, and CDs. The Ice Park tops it all with incredible structures made out of ice. Be sure not to miss the 'largest glow-in-dark garden' created out of yards of recycled luminous fabric and millions of energy-saving bulbs.
12. Attend the Dubai Opera Together
The Dubai Opera is somewhat like London's West End or Manhattan's Broadway. From here, you can enjoy magnificent views of the Dubai Fountain and the Burj Khalifa. The Dubai Opera is shaped like an Arabian Dhow, with the rear arching upwards. The opera stage can easily be transformed into a theatre, concert hall or hall.
