Best melbourne playgrounds
What makes a good playground for you? I have small children, so toilets on site is high on my list of what makes a great playground. I don't have pets, so I confess that the off-leash factor didn't have much weight on my criteria.

Here's a map of my Top 20 Playgrounds in SE Melbourne; updates will change live. Some locations include comments on features in the information section (click park name on map). The "toilets" icon indicates the playgrounds with toilets onsite; you can see just how important this is to me!

Allnut Park is an amazing gem, and so much more than a playground. Here's where you got a bonus on my list, you pet-lovers! Some great off-leash areas nearby, paths, toilets, two rotundas, shaded seating and barbecues; a very popular place for parties.

The play structures at this playground truly provide a range for most ages; there's a bike path and basketball hoop if you've got older kids or a wide age gap between kids or guests. The trees were even in on the fun when I was here last; they had been "yarn-bombed" and reportedly have been on and off over the last few years. I find it so quirky and fun!
