Kebabs are a rather filling lunch and for some of us with a small appetite, a great dinner too. Whether it is a traditional beef doner kebab, chicken, mixed or even kebabs of the falafel variety, kebabs are just delicious - so where is Sydney's best tasting kebab, and where is the best place to eat it?
I don't know about you, but for me it is always fantastic to enjoy a kebab at or near the beach (despite the fact that the seagulls can be quite vile) and the kebabs at Manly Kebabs enjoys a roaring trade. Their kebabs are just that delicious. The salad ingredients are fresh and the meat is always moist - not to mention quite filling. They are certainly great value for money. One of the best kebabs I have ever eaten at a beach would definitely have to be from Manly.
The park is also a great kebab eating spot, and as a last resort, at home as well. Another favourite kebab establishment of mine would have to be Darling Kebabs along Darling Street, Balmain. Their falafels are a particular favourite as they are not reheated in the microwave - rather they are extremely fresh, juicy and rather flavoursome. The staff are fast on their feet - labelling their service as 'efficient' would not do their service any justice at all. One of the greatest falafels to eat at home.
Where have you tasted Sydney's best kebab? And why is the kebab and the relevant establishment so fantastic? And where is your favourite kebab eating spot in Sydney? Looking forward to your discussions on this one.
