New Year's Eve is all about the countdown celebration all over the world. Here we list down the best places to celebrate the year-end in Singapore:

1. Marina Bay Countdown 2017
The festive jointly organized by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay extends from Marina Bay to the Civic District from evening till late night. It will be a car-free activity space. Expect movie screenings, music concerts, yoga, fitness dance party, bazaars, roving performances at various venues and there are many dining options too.

The Rock On! 2017 concert at The Float @ Marina Bay featuring various international artists will start from 5pm. Bounce, slide, jump and feast through four play zones of BounceOFF! Fiesta 2016. National Gallery, Asian Civilisations Museum and Victoria Theatre & Victoria Concert Hall will remain open until midnight. Gardens by the Bay will extend the lighting hours of its conservatories, Supertrees and the festive Luminarie light sculptures until 1am.

A final show followed by a special countdown sequence on the façade of The Fullerton Hotel will be the climax culminating in an eight-minute fireworks display at the stroke of midnight. Visit here for more details.


2. Siloso Beach Party 2016
Singapore's one and only Beach Countdown Party is back with its 10th edition this year. The beach party will be held at Singapore's State of Fun, Sentosa Island.

Groove away in its signature giant foam pool and sandy dance floors and end 2016 with a high note with 12 hours non-stop music and beats headlined by Dutch DJ and producer Quintino and a line-up of local DJs such as Kat DJ, DJ Kaylova, Shawny Shawn (winner of Sentosa DJ Spinoff 2016), and colorful fireworks!

3. NYE at Faber Peak
New Year's Eve party-goers will enjoy a memorable last evening in 2016, partying to live entertainment by local band Stealing Sirens and playing interactive games to relive the highlights of the year with their loved ones. 4. Clarke Quay Supernova Countdown Party
Come to Clarke Quay Fountain Square and party all the way from 9.30pm till late. Jive the night away with the locally-acclaimed band, 53A. Simone Heng from Class 95 and Kimberley Wang from 987 will be entertained the visitors too. Be charmed by hosts Justin Ang and Vernon A from Class 95 with their witty banter as we countdown to 2017!

B-boys and Flygirls will dance to the beat of DJ spinning tracks from a larger-than-life boombox at Tan Tye Gate from 9.30pm to 11.30pm! Catch CYR Wheel act near the taxi stand. What's more? there is no admission fee.
