Whatever your reason for watching a sunset, there is no denying that it is a beautiful sight. You might want to watch it while enjoying a romantic date, or sitting alone watching the sunset might feel cathartic. We want to know if watching a sunset can be affected by the place you watch it from, because we're looking for the best place in Sydney to watch the sunset. It could be a romantic secluded spot, special for just two, or it could just be a unique way to see the world. Let us know your top location for enjoying the setting sun.

Watching the sun set on the harbour is obviously an iconic Sydney image. While you could just find yourself a seat by the Rocks, or you can choose a slightly more exciting option. Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb offer a twilight climb as one of their packages. This will see you atop the Sydney Harbour Bridge as the sun sets around you. Another nearby option would be to catch the Manly Ferry just as the sun begins to set, and watch it as you make your way along the water. You get to take in the beauty of the harbour as well as the beauty of the sunset.

If you prefer to stay in the city then you might also find that the Skywalk Sunset Walks are the best sunset location. At least you'll get more time here, as the sunset appears to last for longer because you are up so high. Not all would find the city the best location to watch the sunset, if you like things more adventurous then the Blue Mountains could be your top spot to watch the sun go down. A Sunset 4-Wheel-Drive Tour will see you witnessing the setting sun in some stunning locations.

One of the more romantic choices is probably going to be at one of Sydney's top beaches, Is there a particular spot that you love to go and get close to someone special? We're sure there are some great ones out there. Maybe the best spot for you is sitting on your balcony with an ice cold beer, or maybe you've discovered a picnic spot that just takes the cake. We've got at least 365 sunsets in a year, and it is worth taking the time to sit down and enjoy at least one of them. The question is, where is the best place to do this? Let us know your top sunset tips.

Clarke's Point Hunters Hill - you watch the sunset reflecting on the bridge and city buildings while having an evening picnic surrounded by the lights of ferries and yachts on the river. Great, especially in daylight saving after work.
