But as I am new to all of this, I am asking you where is the best place to take the jet ski out in Brisbane? We have been taking it for a ride along the beautiful canals in Redcliffe on the Brisbane's Northside where we take it slow (due to the very, very slow speed restrictions) and relish in the views of huge waterfront mansions and my favourite so far, cruising among the gorgeous sail boats moored at the Moreton Bay Boat Club, (Step up on the deck and indulge in a plate of prawns if I may?)
But we would like to take our new beloved family member off the peninsula and are inviting you to suggest some places to go jet skiing in the River City. Or perhaps south of? Canals? Rivers? Lakes?
Hi Emma, we know of a few places but we too are looking for others. Some great places are, Maroon Dam - Down near Boonah, Somerset Dam - Out near Esk, Lake Dyer (aka Bill Gunn Dam) out near Laidley. Some other really nice places to check out are also off Redland Bay where you can check out Islands such as Coochie Mudlo Is, Russell Is, Macleay Is, Lamb Is, Karagarra Is and of course North Stardbroke Is. Cruisning out on the bay can bring you to one of many secluded beaches. Our daughter and her then boyfriend took some lunch and drink, stopped somewhere on Straddie, had the whole beach to themselves, found some rock oysters and had a great day. My wife and I have done similar things. It depends what you are looking to do. My name is Tom.
