Some imported chocolate on the Goldie

Even on the Gold Coast imported chocolate (and all other imported treats) give us all an abundance of choice. Although not the cheapest way to satisfy those sweet, chocolate cravings, enjoying an imported chocolate bar and/or other chocolate treat once in a while breaks your routine and gives you a different treat to enjoy, without the same old, same old.

More imported chocolate delights

Candy Time at the Pacific Fair Shopping Centre on Broadbeach boasts and sells an extensive array of different imported chocolate treats. Who would have thought that Hershey's chocolate products come in sugar free varieties? The choice is endless. I did not see any Babe Ruth bars, however chocolates from the USA and the UK are prominent at this establishment, among the likes of Hershey's Syrups and 7UP Marinade. Wow.

It gets better and better

The prices of the imported chocolates aren't too bad, and there are smaller versions of Cadbury's buttons, incredible to view and treat as a morning snack. This is also a neatly displayed store.

I went for a Hershey's Marshmallow Chocolate Heart ($2) and some Hello Kitty Chocolate Brownie pieces ($3.99) and that was (and still is) enough sweetness for a while. Chocolate with marshmallows seems to not be as popular in the Gold Coast, and anywhere else in Australia. However overseas marshmallow is rather popular, and I can understand why when buying and trying the Hershey's treat from this shop.

7UP Marinade too

I asked the assistant whether or not the Hello Kitty chocolate brownies came from the USA, Japan or Korea? She could not tell me but said to me "I hope you enjoy it." Ooh, I certainly did. Just like the real chocolate brownie in a bite sized mini shell. Boy these treats (and the marshmallow heart) were so sweet. Candy Time is a supreme place to grab your imported chocolate hits. The Hello Kitty brownies are actually made in the USA.

Furthermore, for heavenly chocolates from Brazil, Captains Candy in Ashmore (behind Billabong in Central Park Plaza) is your go to store, and the range of chocolate treats they sell, especially the imported variety is astounding. Nuts and wafers reign supreme in the Garoto chocolate products. This store focuses more on lollies and candies than chocolate, however if you love your chocolate hits from the UK and the USA, Captains Candy is another worthy consideration on the Goldie. Candy Time is still a stand out due to its more abundant choices.
