It all makes sense. The Gold Coast is a popular hub for ice cream treats, and with so many different options on the cards, it can be rather tricky to decide on the right place to buy a quality tub of iced purity. So on that note, for locals and visitors to the Goldie alike...where, just where exactly is the best place to buy a scoop of ice cream?
The vast array of flavours at Zanette's, including the Smurfs flavour.
Straight away Surfers Paradise comes to mind, especially along Cavill Avenue, however there is an elegant ice creamery tucked away in opulence in this area that makes it worth the wait, the walk and the effort to enjoy a scoop of the icy stuff.
Another great place where ice cream can be brought on the Goldie.
The ice cream at Zanette's Gelati inside the Chevron Renaissance is unique, kid friendly and so different. If you're lucky, you might be given three stamps on your loyalty card (instead of a measley one in comparison) for one scoop of ice cream, of which constitutes $5.50 as money well spent. The milo ice cream was just divine.
The milo flavour wasn't as strong as if taking a spoon from the tub, however the subtle malt, chocolate and vanilla flavours made way for a heavenly concoction without the guilt.
There are a great range of sorbets here, and popular among the kids was the Smurfs ice cream, bright blue. Don't know what that tastes like, however this blue went down well with the kids in line with their parents in front of me.
