It's no secret that we have quite a few shutterbugs on Weekend Notes - just check out our growing photography section to see some remarkable shots of Brisbane city. From images of the Brisbane skyline, to natural landscapes, to people watching and much more- the talented Brisbane Weekend Notes team continue to capture the beauty of Brisbane and it's people.

Given the popularity of the photography section, I thought it would be interesting if the Weekend Notes community could compile a list of great Brisbane photography locations. For example where could one get great shots of manicured gardens - the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens perhaps? Maybe you know of somewhere better. Think about Brisbane locations where one could get great shots of urban landscapes, public art and sculptures, natural landscapes, street photography, sunrises and sunsets.

So all you shutter bugs, put down your camera for a second or two and let us know where you love to take photos in Brisbane.

We look forward to your feedback.

The corner of Gatwick and Farrant Streets Stafford Heights has an amazing view over the city. Would be great to photo early morning when the buildings are peeping out from the clouds. Also when fireworks are on at Southbank

Forbes Street Hawthorne has an excellent view of the city. The Powerhouse at New Farm is a great eclectic place for photographs (outside the Powerhouse).

I live in Forest Lake and you can't go wrong with the variety of bird life we get there. Swans, pelicans, spoonbills, egrets, darters, cormorants - the list goes on and on.
