Eat fresh and organic, live a healthy lifestyle
Health is wealth. In Sydney, we have heaps of food choices, but all choices should boil down to eating healthy. Here are weekend markets and some where you can find organic, fresh and healthy food, untouched by chemicals and pesticides that, in one way or another, can harm our bodies.

Chatswood
Every Saturday, from 8:00am to 1:00pm, the Organic Market in Chatswood opens. Located at the Chatswood Public School, Pacific Highway, Chatswood, the market is under cover so trading is open comes rain, hail, or shine. There's a parking lot nearby and off-street parking is available too. Certified organic produce, Sonoma bread, La Tartine Bread, nuts and dried fruit, and groceries are available. You can also have bacon and eggs, as well as coffee, too.

Double Bay
Every Thursday, from 9:00am to 2:00pm, the Organic Market in Double Bay opens. Located at Guilfoyle Park, Knox Street, Double Bay, the market is open for trading in all weather. There's a parking lot nearby and off-street parking is available too. Certified organic and fresh produce is available, including a range of delicious gourmet food, crafts, plants, flowers, and environment- and eco-friendly products.

Frenchs Forest
Every Sunday, from 8:00am to 1:00pm, the Organic Market in Frenchs Forest opens. Located at the Parkway Hotel, 5 Frenchs Forest Road, East Frenchs Forest, the market is open in all weather. There's a parking lot nearby and off-street parking is available too, while there's a bus stop right at the door to the market. Please leave pets at home and bring them organic treats instead.

Gladesville
Every Saturday, from 8:00am to 1:00pm, the Organic Market in Gladesville opens. Located at the Riverside Girls High School, Victoria Road / Huntleys Point Road, Gladesville, the market is open in all weather. Certified organic and fresh produce is available, including a range of gourmet food, plants, and fashion apparel.

Hornsby
Every Thursday, from 8:00am to 4:00pm, the Organic Market in Hornsby opens. Located around the fountain in Hornsby Mall, Florence and Hunter Streets, Hornsby, the market is open in all weather. A full range of delicious gourmet produce is available, as well as plants, flowers, and other personally-produced products.

Kings Cross
Every Saturday, from 8:00am to 2:00pm, the Organic Market in Kings Cross opens. Located at El Alamein Fountain, Fitzroy Gardens, Macleay Street, Kings Cross, the market is open for trading in all weather. There's a parking lot nearby and off-street parking is available too. A full range of delicious gourmet produce, including plants, flowers, oils, nuts, and delicious gluten-free pātisseries, delightful pies and cakes, fresh pasta and sauce, French cheese and saucisson, plus a lot more, are available. Have some coffee and make new friends too.

Leichhardt
Every Saturday, from 8:00am to 1:00pm, the Organic Market in Leichhardt opens. Located at the Orange Grove Public School at the corner of Perry Street and Balmain Road, Leichhardt, the market is open rain or shine, but apologies, no pets are allowed. You can come early, however, and enjoy the famous bacon and egg rolls with a cup of coffee on the green grassy playground. Kids can play on the pony rides or the bouncing castle.

Marrickville
Every Sunday, from 8:30am to 3:00pm, the Organic Market in Marrickville opens. Located at the Addison Road Centre, 142 Addison Road, Marrickville, the market is open in all weather. Expect to find organic and fresh produce, fruits, and veggies, as well as just a little something from everywhere, plus the best food and some of the nicest people.

Newcastle
Get as much of organic market as you can at Newcastle, open from 8:00am to 3:00pm four days in a week, from Wednesday to Saturday. Located at the Hunter Street Mall, Hunter Street, Newcastle, the market is open in most days of the week, rain or shine. Farm-grown roses, fresh organic food and vegetables, free range eggs, Fayes cakes, jams, and preserves from the Country Women's Association, cupcakes, gozleme, Thai food, toys, fashion, books, CDs and more are available.

Rouse Hill
Every Saturday, from 8:00am to 1:00pm, the Organic Market in Rouse Hill opens. Located at the Market Squaer of the Rouse Hill Town Centre, Tempus Street (off White Hart Lane), Rouse Hill, the market is open in all weather. Crafts, food, and a full range of certified organic and fresh vegetables, farm produce, and artisan gourmet goodies are available, as well as plants, flowers, toys, homewares, crafts, and eco-friendly and sustainable goods.
