Mary Tobin presents 'Best of Edinburgh Fest ', running as part of Adelaide Fringe Festival at The Garden of Unearthly Delights: Umbrella Revolution at 8:15pm from February 12th until March 13th. Best of the Edinburgh Fest is a stand-up comedy show that features three international acts for the price of one! This year's line up includes the hilarious Prince Abdi (United Kingdom), Stuart Mitchell (Scotland) and Danny O'Brien (Ireland).

Stuart Mitchell took to the stage, first telling the audience that Aussies abbreviate everything, starting with afternoon. He asked the audience to yell out what we call afternoon in Australia and the audience said 'arvo'. He said "I thought this was bad, until I heard a women in a Melbourne deli a few weeks ago refer to her lady parts as her gina." He said he had never heard this before, but thought it sounded a lot nicer than the typical word.

Prince Abdi has incredibly funny interpretations of Australians. This routine involved demonstrating the Aussie language and stories about himself. He tells the audience about the time when he was on a crowded bus and a preacher was lecturing on Jesus. At the next stop, a majority of the crowd got off and got on another bus and the preacher took a seat. He said "I just really wanted to sit down and did I mention I was the preacher." The audience found his set very amusing.

Danny O'Brien was the last act and they saved the best for last. He told the audience how awkward it was to share a hostel room with an Australian couple who had a few too many drinks and were a little frisky. This couple decided to hang a towel across the top bunk so he couldn't see what they were doing, but they forgot the towel wasn't sound proof.

He wooed the audience with reasons why he should be single, his backpacking experiences and his mother's dress-sense. Back in Ireland his mother works in a charity clothing store and insists on bringing him home clothes that people would never buy. He talks about the difference between men and women and a drunken night out. He noted that when women have 'Wine Wednesdays' with the girls and come back drunk, they always end up saying "that's why I'm single".

Don't miss your chance to see three stand-up comedians for the price of one in 'The Best of Edinburgh Fest' at this year's Adelaide Fringe at The Garden of Unearthly Delights: Umbrella Revolution. 5/5 Stars
