Whether you prefer sweet or savoury, everybody loves muffins. There are so many different varieties and flavours of muffins available you will be spoilt for choice. Plus with so many stores now offering both sweet and savoury muffins, who knows where to go to get consistently good service and food. So the question is: where can you get the best muffins in Perth?

Of course there's Muffin Break. Their muffins are baked fresh, on the premises daily, and there are so many different ones to choose from. They have something to suit everyone with a range including low fat, gluten free, high fibre and gourmet. Not to mention the yummy blueberry, choc chip and raspberry and white chocolate flavours. There are handy take home packs of 4 or 6 muffins available. When you're there check out the Bakers Special Choice: with a different flavour very day, they are always fresh, delicious and wonderful. They even have Weight Watchers Selections so if you feel like being a bit naughty you can do so without feeling guilty.

One of my favourites that always has plenty of goodies to choose from- Culleys Tearooms in Fremantle, bakes all their own goodies, fresh daily, on the premises. Culleys have a wide range of cakes and savouries, which are all mouth watering, but the muffins are fantastic. Blueberry, choc chip, apple or raspberry and white chocolate – all yummy delights. They don't cost too much and because they are a small, family run business you know they are fresh and made with love.

Muffin Break's Weight Watcher Range

There are quite a few places to get muffins in Perth, these are popular and highly rated so why not give them a try -The Cake Factory, Croissant Express - and while I know this is about muffins, can I just say, if you are going to Croissant Express you have to try out their delicious Cherry Strudel- it's fabulous, Jaylea's Patisserie or the Muffin Café. All of these places are popular with the locals for more than just their muffins- they are all great places, with wonderful service and a fantastic atmosphere which makes going their for your favourite sweet treat just that bit sweeter.

So that is a quick rundown of just a few popular muffin places. We all know there are plenty more and there are of course those one or two well-kept secrets that have delightful snacks and muffins. Most bakeries, coffee shops and café's have muffins but which one is the best? Please tell us your favourite today.
