Desserts and sweets include Basbousa with Orange syrup, Flourless orange and almond cake, Pistachio Maamoul and Walnut Maamoul. A banquet menu is also available.
Taboon, located in Broadbeach is another great moderately priced Moroccan establishment. The Mezze dishes are a highlight here and there are two Tagine dishes available; Lamb Shank and Chicken. The menu here is quite varied and there are plenty of Moroccan and Turkish inspired dishes available.
Coral Tajine Moroccan & Spanish Restaurant, located in Maroochydore is also another great moderately priced Moroccan restaurant. The namesake of the restaurant, the Tajine, is the true highlight here. You can sample a Meatball Tajine, Chicken and Preserved Lemon Tajine, Seafood Tajine or Mrozia Lamb Tajine. Desserts and sweets include Warm Moroccan Chocolate and Walnut Torte, Hair Saffron and Mango Baked Cheesecake and Honey Figs Poached with Sweet Port Syrup. A range of banquet options are also available.
